not sure why there are uneven schedules for teams in the same conference and same division. I am fighting for a playoff spot and my team has to play the best team in the league and yet the team that I competing for a playoff spot does not have to play the best team in the league and yet we are in the same division ??? whats up with that ??February 27, 2011 at 01:26AM View BBCode
You should play 2 games against each other team in your division, 1 game against each of the teams in the other division in your conference, and you play 6 of the 8 teams in the other conference once.March 01, 2011 at 11:56PM View BBCode
Thats what I said , it is uneven. In other words all the teams in the same division do not play all the same teams therefore there are advantages and disadvantages to certain teams in the division as some will play stronger teams in the other conference and some will play weaker teams in the other conference. It should be an easy fix to make it so the teams in the same division play the same teams in the other conference once.March 02, 2011 at 12:28AM View BBCode

In long-term leagues, we should try to mimic what the NFL does and the teams get paired based on where they finish in the division in the previous year. So, those 6 out of conference games would be harder for the previous division winner but easier for the previous division loser (at least, in theory).March 02, 2011 at 10:03PM View BBCode
