Basically, the current situation is that when you designate a player for assignment, he is no longer being counted toward your 40-man roster limit, so you may accidentally incur a penalty.
Tyson will work on fixing it next week. Meanwhile, you can add short term salary adjustments to deal with any DFA issues.

Right now I want to make a trade. We're mid-bidding and my roster stands at 18 players. I can promote guys to get it up to the 23 to 25 requirement, which I did, but then it was looking for a minimum of 9 pitchers. I only have 6 in the majors and 2 in the minors. I can't temporarily pick up pitchers from the WW, so the trade desk is telling me no go because I can't get to 9. Interestingly, I'm not even trying to trade any or for any pitchers.

I think that if possible (and I don't know if it is), the roster limits for total players and for pitchers should be ignored by the system for any salary league before the league date hits 4/1 (or perhaps 4/2).Right now I want to make a trade. That would be helpful too Jet but I think that's a separate issue of course. Probably should have its own thread so it doesn't get lost in here. I tend to promote all sorts of minor league guys but can easily see the issue with only having 8 on the roster since we can't pick from the WW during bidding.Pages: 1
