when is this used exactly? is it automatic when the defence is calling deep zone/prevent? is it a 3rd/long thing?

It's automatic on the Prevent, it's used under certain circumstances on the Shallow Zone (I need to dig into the code to remember what the circumstances are).

You will eventually have more control over this.

so i need to call prevent in order to be sure i use it?
