Hey guys. Given I don't have too much experience with the game, could someone explain to me in layman terms how the draft system works?January 24, 2011 at 03:08PM View BBCode
There's a basic explanation in the "game guide" under help. It's under amateur draft 3.3.2 in team information. Basically, you choose the number players in each position that you are willing to draft, and the importance of each skill that you want in your players... including hitting, power, speed fielding, age, or velocity, control, and endurance. You're probably better off going for youth since they will have more time for improvement.January 24, 2011 at 04:22PM View BBCode
Right, I thought so too. Apparently the last draft yielded a 25 year old catcher rated B. At pick 5. :(January 24, 2011 at 06:19PM View BBCode
You can raise or drop a player in the draft ranking by changing the number. However, a good catcher is hard to find, and if I remember right he had a good arm and could hit.January 25, 2011 at 08:52AM View BBCode
True, he's not half bad. But the thing is, I've already got a catcher that can hit. And he's little more than a year older.Pages: 1
