OK, it's still not pretty but at least they have 40 players, CPs set and guys playing the right position.December 22, 2010 at 06:52PM View BBCode
Thanks, TR. Any ideas about what we can do with CLE? If it was a real team, there are actually a lot of things I would trade with it to help out with salary stuff, but I'm not about to collude with myself in order to compete this year. The free agents didn't want to be in Atlanta this season. Oh well.December 22, 2010 at 07:00PM View BBCode
OK, I see a possible solution by semi-combining the STL and CLE rosters. I'm working on this now. If anyone objects they can log in and reverse everything afterwards.December 22, 2010 at 07:04PM View BBCode
So is hobos not running the CLE team? I thought he was negotiating trades.December 22, 2010 at 07:08PM View BBCode
I don't see any notice of that situation anywhere. I see a nonsensical mess in CLE that is way over the cap and a team in STL that has not placed a free agent bid in 3+ seasons.December 22, 2010 at 07:12PM View BBCode
I think all hobos did was try and clean up the free agency bids, but then someone went in later and bid on them again which is how Estelella ended up there late in the bidding.December 22, 2010 at 07:13PM View BBCode

I've got a 7 player for 14 player deal set up right now that would significantly upgrade STL's talent, decrease CLE's salary, and bring both teams (nearly) into compliance with the 40-man rule.

Yeah ... I ran into a snag with the 25 man major league roster thing. I'm working on it.December 22, 2010 at 07:26PM View BBCode
OK, the trade is done. CLE is under the cap and STL has a semi-real team (they will be better than ATL this year!). I'll work on CLE's roster now and set lineups/rotations/cp's/etc.December 22, 2010 at 07:28PM View BBCode
As a summary, in Tampa I signed the following free agents:December 22, 2010 at 07:31PM View BBCode
I've also reversed the Murray/Etherton trade .December 22, 2010 at 07:40PM View BBCode
I hate this cp system. (Can I just say that?) CLE's roster is set except for the minor leagues, which I am working on now. They have one player on his way to the minors via the waiver process, but they should still be under the cap when he gets there (I hope).December 22, 2010 at 07:42PM View BBCode
I just prioritized the cp's from youngest to oldest, 15 to 1. Probably not the best way, but he has 40 people on the roster and is under 80M.December 22, 2010 at 07:46PM View BBCode
It looks like Rooster or someone already fixed STL. Thanks! (BTW, that team is going to just dismantle my Atlanta squad. We cannot hit.)December 22, 2010 at 08:05PM View BBCode
Did anyone reverse the Cy Ronan, Marvin Bell for Eric Ferguson, Larry Blankenship, Pete Garcia and Bobby Peterson trade?December 22, 2010 at 08:07PM View BBCode

I thought that Cleveland was being actively managed now, but I'm really glad to see that you fixed things.December 23, 2010 at 11:42PM View BBCode
I made a small trade with Tampa, in doing their signings I left them incredibly weak in Middle Infield so I traded them a still serviceable [url=http://beta.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=61151]Jim Hartley[/url] for a 3rd round pick.December 24, 2010 at 12:05PM View BBCode
