Down 6-0 early and 9-4 heading into the bottom of the 9th, the Gnomes bats finally came alive, scoring 5 in the bottom of the ninth to tie. When Kansas City broke the tie in the 10th, they did it again, on a big 2-run Game-winning HR from [url=http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?mode=player&playername=nobody&id=927793]Jose Acosta[/url].
Not to be overlooked were the 3 hitless innings thrown by the newly-acquired [url=http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?mode=player&playername=nobody&id=927748]Frank Mattis[/url]. Arriving barely in time for the game (and finding himself in the bullpen for that reason), he shut down the KC club from the 7th through 9th to make the comeback possible.
