They are wondering how Torres, Simmerly and Bowie are still playing baseball and why those guys are putting up such numbers in the JBL?
They think Mike Hampton stole the handicap accessible van while Mike Scott assisted the others from the bingo hall during geriatric night.
Geeze, Dave, give it a rest (as in Rest Home).
I appreciate your elderly team sweeping NY and Cincy but we can do that too.
Just pick up the phone and tell the nice folks at the Sanctuary for Retired Ballplayers that your "boys" will be home by morning.
Hopefully you can collect all the walkers, canes and that damn Hover Round that are always needed when your guys come to town.
I hope you have as much fun reading this as I did typing it.
Now, send them back to the home!:D

These guys are only playing well because any hip, knee or heart valve replacements will be paid for by the team provided we get back to the post season. We've had to add 4 more whirlpools to the locker room, and we get weekly visits from an AARP representative, so the guys have been staying pretty positive. Is Hampton still alive? Someone go check his pulse. I gotta go Shoe, we may have to defibrolate Hampton prior to tonight's game...
