Congratulations on a great year. Despite not finishing 1st, you were strong enough to win the World Series convincingly beating out a strong Baltimore team in the AL, and a strong Cincy team in the NL. Tough luck to the Gothams, winning 102 and not even making the playoffs!

Great job Pierzynski, you have fully established a dynasty with your 3rd championship in 5 years. And a hat-tip to Merlintp as well on another good season, and your 3rd playoff appearance in a row.The bad news for the rest of us is, both of your teams look like they're not going anywhere and will be right back in the mix next season. Thanks guys. It was a helluva season in the AL. Baltimore and NY gave me indigestion all season long and I feel lucky that we pulled it out.I look forward to another nail biter in the AL!

Congrats to the dynastic Black Sox and to all teams that made the playoffs or would have in most any other year (any team that wins 102 is still a great team). Best of luck everybody in the new season!

Cincy needs more/better bench hitters, by the by. I'm sure everyone can use better pitching, but the hitters on the bench just aren't deep enough, IMO. But who can complain? Great year!

Grats, Pier.... tough series to lose. Just like the season-long series... it was close and competitive. Looks like my pitching staff took a hit with Raymer and Trakand retiring. Was hoping Raymer would last another season or two so he could net 300 wins. We'll see what moves can be made to keep up with you for another year or so.Pages: 1
