Not sure if this would be exploitable or not, but you can trade free agents from the trade desk. I just completed the Froelich-Cardoni trade between Toronto and Detroit in the TSL. Both of those players are currently free agents.

There's nothing really wrong with it, teams trade negotiating rights all the time in sports so I don't see a real problem with it .

It could probably be used to gain the "home team" discount if team A wanted to sign a player on Team B's roster they could trade for him and gain an advantage .There's nothing really wrong with it, teams trade negotiating rights all the time in sports so I don't see a real problem with it .
