Effective Salary not showing and the Fisher Contract

August 30, 2010 at 05:07PM View BBCode

In "View Bids" effective salary is not showing for most players .

Also I have a question about the [url=http://beta.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=58955]Leo Fisher[/url] signing. According to the "view bids" page Fisher signed an 8 year deal with KC for $3.85 million per year, a total of $30.8 million over the course of the contract.

There were deals out there that pay more in total over less years ( 6 years at $5.6, 6 years at $5.5)and one for 6 years at $5 million so I'm wondering what the signing logic was ?

I'm not sure what happened with the effective salaries. Let me review that again.

He has a high leadership score and KC has the top prestige in the league. Since he was previously on KC, these two factors result in a significant home town discount.

Players that signed before the 30th may not have their adjusted bids, due to the other problem. We'll have to keep a close eye on this for the next free agency period.

I figured the "home town" and prestige were factors but that's a really big discount for a player who played less than a full year in KC .

Essentially he's playing his last 2+ seasons in KC for free, I'm wondering if that formula needs a tweak.
