I've been working on some new code for the salary leagues and need some help testing. We'll probably run a draft and a few seasons before shutting it down. Unable to signup, when I try to verify it says "Invalid Verification Key" and loops me back to the log In page where the whole thing starts all over.

I can't get in. It insists that my email hasn't been verified and it doesn't appear to send me one. When I try to go past without verifying it tells me that the verification is not working.

Thanks, I forgot I had set that up. You can't signup for a 2nd trial league team until your email is verified. For those of you in beta already, you probably got this message. I've shut it off, you should be able to signup now.Tyson

How will the initial draft work? Can we see player salaries as we rank?

Will we have a chance to rerank the players? I didn't realize the draft was scheduled to run and never finished ranking them.

These guys picked in the 3rd and 4th rounds need to be league minimum players.
Also, you've got it set so that players can select a 5 year contract for multiple draftees. Conceivably, they could assign a 5 year contract to all of their over OS28 draftees. This is an issue because the top players are generally going to get more in free agency than they are from their preset drafting.
That isn't to say that we should change the salary structure for these players, rather that we need to limit how many of these bargains a team can lock up for multiple years. In the beginning of the AML we allowed 1 5 year contract, 2 4 year contracts, 3 3 year contract 4 2 year contracts with the rest of the contracts being of the 1 year variety (and of course all the younger players would have through their OS28 season-we're just talking about the older contracts at this point)

Bart, for the initial draft of the AML, we used the OS28+ formula for players down to OS25 (or 26?), because of how many players were in which age brackets. I do note that the undrafted free agents all have larger salaries. IMO all undrafted free agents over OS26 ought to have .5M salaries.Pages: 1 2
