We will be clearing out old trial league data from our database tonight starting at midnight Eastern time. There will also be some work done between 3 and 4AM. The site will likely be offline during these times, so please plan ahead. Sorry for the late notice.

Some of the painful stuff is behind us. The site should be okay for a little while here (15-20 minutes)

Would it be possible to schedule things like this in the future for times other than the night before playoffs? I got all my fine-tuning in and I'm ready to go, but it was close. Anyway, just a thought, I'm too excited about my playoff series tomorrow to really worry about it.

The site was only down for a few minutes as far as I can tell. Right now, the site is offline for its normal 3AM backup - we do this every night.

Sorry, I should clarify. I decided not to do the 3AM work and set things back to normal with the 3AM backup. We'll continue to delete data over the next few days. The bulk of the heavy lifting is done. What remains may be able to be done during the day, I'm going to try some scripts tomorrow and see how the site responds.
