Deadline to renew Dynasty teams.
Expansion teams made available for new owners - discounted teams promotion.
July 8th
Last Day of Regular Season
July 9th

July 10th

July 11th (12:01AM to 2AM)
Offseasons run for Dynasty leagues (usually takes about 1 hour for all leagues). These run overnight.
July 11th (starting at 10AM)
Expansion teams are moved into place and have control of their team.
July 12th (approx 12 Noon)
New changes moved into place. The list of changes will be posted sometime this week.
July 14th (starting at 6:01AM)
Amateur Drafts for Dynasty leagues. Usually takes less than 30 minutes for all leagues.
July 16th
New season begins.

I have a question and Im not trying to be a smart aleck.........in some of the leagues I play in the drafts are simply void of talent........there isnt even enough for each team to get a good player in the 1st round. My question is wouldnt it be better to load a draft in each league about every 4-5 season so re-building isnt so long and painful? Also I would think you wouldnt have so much turnover in the various leagues.........IMOthoughts??

The only way I can think of that would alleviate this concern would be to create 4-5 draft classes by hand, then have those rotate randomly. When I've proposed this in the past, people haven't been a big fan of that idea.

One draft improvement I would suggest, and I may do so on ideascale, is to drop the fourth and fifth rounds and put those players, along with an occasional real prospect, on the waiver wire. The last two rounds are virtually worthless, you can't give away a fourth or fifth round pick in trade, and it would be more realistic, like signing an Japanese pitcher or whatever.

Oh, I know, it's just where I had time to post it. I will put it on ideascale when I have a bit more time, not always easy with an eight month old who's decided to start walking around!

Note that the Dynasty league drafts have been moved to 6AM to accommodate the server move.Tyson

It has been about 5-7 days since joining up and getting stuff straight for a team. There are 16 teams listed in my league and yet there has still been no draft. Why? And when can I expect to log on and see a team?

There was an issue with the Pat Corrales league. It should be okay now and games should resume tomorrow. But if they don't or you see other issues, please create a thread in Support so we can look into it.Thanks,
