Benj Shepardson, of the New York Hippos, was finally brought back down to earth today by the Hippo's biggest threat, the Washington Weevils. Only lasting into the 4th inning, Shepardson gave up 6 runs before he was pulled. The Hippos could not rally and Shepardson has his first loss of the season to complement his historic 12-0 start. Still leading in voting for the Cy Young Award, Shepardson will have to rebound to help the Hippos maintain their 1st place record.July 10, 2010 at 07:07PM View BBCode
