Because not all teams are built equally, different teams are more attractive than others and the process reflects this. All teams are going to be discounted. Today, the price is $11, or 1000 Dynasty Dollars, for 2 seasons of play. Every few days, we will lower that price for any teams remaining, until all teams are taken. We will update this thread each time the price changes.
Here are the teams that are currently available. Teams that don't have a Replacement Owner listed are available.
This list is up-to-the-minute automatically updated in terms of which teams have not yet been taken. We have about about 30 teams at this point, more will be added early next week.

If you are interested in taking over one of these teams, please follow these instructions:
1) Go to this link to purchase the 2 seasons of play:

2) Return to this link after you have paid to claim the team you want:

We've changed how Expansion teams work. We no longer have Expansion dispersal drafts, you will simply assume control of the team you reserve. You will assume control of that team [color=red]after the season and playoffs are complete.[/color]
Once you have claimed an Expansion team, your team will be temporarily placed in a league called Expansion Teams. Your team will remain here until around March 12th - at which time you will be moved into the proper league. The schedule thread will be posted in Latest News within a few days.

Is there something else I need to do? :puzzled:

This does not seem to be working. I followed step 1 and paid the $18. When I went to step 2 to choose a team it redirected me to a page that had the simdynasty banner at the top but in the text area of the screen had the following error message:*** SQLException caught *** SQLState: S1000 Message: Illegal operation on empty result set. Is there something else I need to do? :puzzled:

I tried the second step above again at 6:45 ET this morning, and still get the same error message. My account now reflects my payment, but I still can't get a list of teams. Thanks for your help.

I got it to work. I had to click on the link in step 1 again and then the screen gave me a choice of teams. Thanks, and this is a great site.

I am also having issues getting the 2nd link to work. Getting the same error message as listed above for the sql error.

I've lowered the price to $14, or D$1300 for 2 seasons of play. I've also added the remaining teams to the list that said they were renewing but never renewed.Tyson

I just paid the $11 and got a message that there are no more teams left.Pages: 1
