If you are on the automatic subscription payment system, please follow these instructions to cancel the subscription. It is your responsibility to do this.

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
3. Click My Preapproved Payments in the Financial Information column. (Don?t see this step? Follow the instructions below.)
4. Click View the Agreement next to the merchant agreement you want to cancel.
5. Click Cancel or Cancel automatic billing and follow the instructions.
Or
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
3. Click My money.
4. Click Update in the My preapproved payments section.
5. Click Cancel or Cancel automatic billing and follow the instructions.

Subscription Leagues - how to cancel your subscription or update your credit card

If you are in a subscription league and would like to leave, please inform the commish that you'd like to leave the league so your team can be placed on the Replacement list. You'll continue to run the team until a Replacement is found.If you are on the automatic subscription payment system, please follow these instructions to cancel the subscription. expiry date, you may be able to update it by clicking the 'Edit' button next to it.
4. Otherwise, add a new credit card, by clicking on the 'Add' button
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the new credit card to
your PayPal account
Part B. Updating your PayPal subscription to Sim Dynasty
You'll need to find the subscription to Sim Dynasty or one of the payments made for that subscription. There are a few ways to do this:
Method 1:
6. On the PayPal, click on the 'History' subtab
7. Choose 'Subscriptions' from the drop-down menu
8. Click the Search button
9. Find your Sim Dynasty subscription and click on its "Details" link. If you are having trouble finding it, you can do an Advanced Search for email address: payments@simdynasty.com by clicking on the Advanced Search on the left side of the History page -- just make sure to check the dates you are searching on.
10. Under 'Subscription Funding Source' choose your new credit card from one of the drop-downs.
Method 2:
6. Click on "History" and search for the last payment made for this league.
7. Click on "Details" to open the payment Transaction Details record.
8. There will be a link at the top of the Transaction page, labeled "In reference to:" Click on the "In reference to", this will open a Subscription Details page.
9. Scroll down to the "Subscription Funding Source" section, where you can select any of the funding sources that you currently have established with your PayPal account to be used for future subscription payments.

I had to update information on paypal (changed payment source) and didn't do it on my simdynasty account. I just completed that and the next payment will be on 9/20/2010. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you want to get into a free league, just go to the home page and click Signup.

Try this, if it doesn't work create a thread in Support and we can work on it together:To add a new credit card:

I just signed up to take over a defunct team mid season - I saw nothing prompting payment but now it appears to me that they are all leagues for pay. How can I tell if it is a free league or not? Sorry about the novice nature of this post. Basically I want to check it out to see if I like it and if I don't I don't want to be stuck paying for it.

I only see you in free leagues. I believe it is just asking if you want to do another 3 seasons with the same group in the free league.Tyson

i updated my credit card in paypal but i have a message on my home page that my subscription is not up to date
also, i have a league where renewal is due next month, however on paypal this league is not listed as a subscription
im really not sure what im supposed to do. i want to renew both of these leagues but i dont like dealing with paypal.

Please create a thread in Support with some specifics and we can discuss more. You can mark it private if you like.
If your subscription is not up to date, please go to Owner->Renewal to create a new subscription or to make a one-time payment.
The other league may not be a subscription league.
