Cleveland became the first AL team in 11 years to have 2 20 game winners(Mike Rogovin and 37yr.old Ernie Scott. Last AL team to accomplish this was the '67 NY Gothams(Chad COleman and Rusty Flick).November 07, 2009 at 10:27PM View BBCode

That is quite the achievement. As successful as the Kings have been during the past decade, we have not accomplished this feat. We have come close, though. In 1971, Johnny Raymer, Hiroto Tamaki, and Tom Sterling each won 19 games. In 1975, Raymer was 23-7 and Tamaki was 19-6. As I recall, Hiroto had at least one chance, I believe two chances, to nail down win number 20, but he was not equal to the task.Pages: 1
