Because not all teams are built equally, different teams are more attractive than others and the process reflects this. All teams are going to be discounted. Today, the price is $8, or 750 Dynasty Dollars, for 2 seasons of play. Every few days, we will lower that price for any teams remaining, until all teams are taken. We will update this thread each time the price changes.
Here are the teams that are currently available. Teams that don't have a Replacement Owner listed are available.
This list is up-to-the-minute automatically updated in terms of which teams have not yet been taken. We have about about 40 teams at this point, more will be added throughout the week.

If you are interested in taking over one of these teams, please follow these instructions:
1) Go to this link to purchase the 2 seasons of play:

2) Return to this link after you have paid to claim the team you want:

We've changed how Expansion teams work. We no longer have Expansion dispersal drafts, you will simply assume control of the team you reserve. You will assume control of that team [color=red]after the season and playoffs are complete.[/color]
Once you have claimed an Expansion team, your team will be temporarily placed in a league called Expansion Teams. Your team will remain here until around November 12th - at which time you will be moved into the proper league. The schedule thread will be posted in Latest News within a few days.

Will there ever be a new dynasty league? I'm a diehard, I'll be on simdynasty for life but I found it too late, I love the dynasty team I've adopted but I really want to birth one.

If you go to Owner->Signup->Pay Leagues, you can set up email notifications for when we start new leagues, among other things.

No, we no longer start new dynasty leagues. We do start new private and speed leagues on occasion, but with the way the economy has been lately, we haven't started many recently.If you go to Owner->Signup->Pay Leagues, you can set up email notifications for when we start new leagues, among other things.

Can the Dynasty teams be relocated or are they stuck in their current city?

The system will see that you are a new owner and allow you to move the cities for the next OffSeason if you like for free.

You can relocate them, but you'll have to wait a season because the enhancement to allow relocations won't be available until November 12th, and relocations occur when the OffSeason runs which will be on November 11th.The system will see that you are a new owner and allow you to move the cities for the next OffSeason if you like for free.

I would sign up for a new dynasty league too. Prolly willing to pay for 5 seasons in advance too.

We no longer start new Dynasty Leagues. We do start new Speed and Private leagues from time to time, and once in a blue moon we start a 3 game per day speed league. If you'd like to be notified when we start a new league, please go to Owner->Signup->Pay Leagues.Tyson
