So for example, if you trade the 4th round pick and that pick becomes Bob Jones, in the news area that should have a link to Bob Jones.
The news is shown under News, and also at the bottom of player cards.
The first step in this is to have a nice, clean, definitive, database record of how the amateur draft went down. This is the change I put in today. This may also be used to re-work the Amateur Draft results pages to make it more accurate.
Once I have some data in the database for this, after the next draft, I can see what can be done to change the news link to link draft trades to the player cards.

It didn't work exactly as planned for 2046. But we'll try it again for 2047. Please make as many 2047 draft pick trades as you can so we can test it after the next draft.
Step 3 will be to set this up to run this at the same time draftees are populated for the next season, just in case a league has a draft reversal.

I simmed through the rest of the season and the draft so I could test this again. It didn't quite work like I had hoped. We'll try it again next season - please trade some draft picks so we can test this.Tyson

That way we can see it on a player card?
ex. You look at Joe Doe's player card because you wonder what you traded for him... his player card reads X Gives 2000 Rd 1 (Dave Peo) and Jim Schult in return for Joe Doe..
Right now you can't see the pick for a pick trade because no past player was involved in the trades you did with Chris.

Should you consider making a trade involving a player & a draft pick?That way we can see it on a player card?

A trade has been completed between the Detroit Devastation Redux and the Chicago Outfit. The Chicago Outfit receive Dave Goetz, Draft Pick 2048 Round 4 DET (Rolando Dixon) from the Detroit Devastation Redux in exchange for Hank Rasmussen, Draft Pick 2048 Round 4 CHA (Bert Connatser).
In fact what Chicago did get was Goetz and Cannatser, my 4th round pick, not Dixon. Dixon was Chicago's 4th round pick who ended up in Detroit.

Swapping 4th and 5th round picks should be sufficient. I've done this between betauser and chris's account.Tyson
