Team Slumps

How common is it for entire teams to go on extended hitting slumps? Philadelphia has been hitting about 30 points lower as a team through the first 30 or so games than they did the last two seasons. I have the same players (more or less) and they've actually imporved quite a bit in their grading in the hitting catagories. I'm just trying to get an idea or why their imporvements seem to have hurt their hitting ability and how long I might expect this slump to last. Thanks.

Maybe it's the pitching???

Good question. I've been trying to figure it out myself. My offensive #s are down too, and my big bats haven't been able to reach the fences.Maybe it's the pitching???

Maybe. But how did we go from being a hitter's league to having such good pitching so quickly? I guess we'll just have to make due with the change.Pages: 1
