You, me, Ernie, Pockets, Bflood. Randb and yanks have been around too. Not like the good ol' days, that's for sure.June 18, 2009 at 05:31PM View BBCode
Yeah ... but this is still a really good league. Some of the newer owners have done a really good job. Although I was class of '51 ... so you can consider me a newbie too ...June 18, 2009 at 10:17PM View BBCode
I'm from '52. I think it's an good league, not too talkative or tradeative, maybe. But, no trouble makers or whiners.June 19, 2009 at 01:00AM View BBCode
Use to be a Power league with talkative, active owners with trades galore without the crappy nagging owners that can infest other leagues. Wish we would trade more in wdl, but still a good league even from the cellar The CookieMon from BadaBing has opened his doors once again!!June 19, 2009 at 01:37AM View BBCode
I joined in '62 and have really enjoyed this league. People welcomed me and made me feel pretty good when, early on, I had a problem with the dude who used to own Chicago.June 19, 2009 at 01:27PM View BBCode
Post more often and maybe the rest of us will too, as far as trades go, I would like to see more but most trades offered are usually pretty onesided< only an idiot would trade 2 or 3 young future allstar quality players for your 34 year old over the hill former allstar but thats the jest of 90% of the trade offers I have recieved and I actually sent out a trade offer involving B and a B+ player plus a 2nd round pick for a 2nd round pick that would be only 3 to 5 spots higher then mine and got a counter replay saying they would tak no less then one of my A- young pitchers plus my first round pick for it, this really did happen, personally I am not going to trade just for the sake of trading.June 19, 2009 at 08:53PM View BBCode
Wave easy dude, that can lead to dissent among the very knowledgeable here. I do post in face had thre consecutive post that went without comments from any one for a week leading to the ? how many original owners were there. It was the best league i have been in and my very first one, however now like a marriage with length the members have grown apart and newness is lost the appeal it once had. As for trade offers, it never hurts to ask and You are not the only one to have received ridiculous trade offers.I would not make atrde either unless I was happen with the trade myself. The Bada remains open to midnight until restriction from St. Louis city councils lifts curfew for closing AND LeMaster continues to spend the night on facility Bada grounds with the slimmed down 365 lbs Big Red! The next trade Cookie and LemBasturd make with each other will be their second since 1950 LOLJune 22, 2009 at 06:54AM View BBCode
Been here way too long. Need a new stadium, but the referendums and/or bond issues keep getting turned down!! Twenty-nine seasons Lemaster has been beating me like a drum!!Pages: 1
