I moved over some code today that will show popup ads and ads that float across the screen for longer term single season users.If you see anything out of the ordinary, let me know. The beta league is classified as dynasty, so you shouldn't see any of these ads.

Is it possible to put the ads on beta for a couple of days to see if they cause any problems? Better to find out if there's a problem in beta than have to deal with hundreds of POed single season guys.

How often should these show up? I just logged into my single-season league and didn't see anything new show up after hitting about 20 pages...

I'll go ahead and set all the single season accounts on the site to be old enough to receive these ads.
You should only see 1 per every 12 hours.

You have to have an account that has had a team for a certain time frame - I'm only going to target the popups to the long term owners.I'll go ahead and set all the single season accounts on the site to be old enough to receive these ads.

Wow, you are WAY too reasonable. I'd say if you want to play for free, you have to see a pop-up every 15 minutes...
Now those float-overs are a different story. Those annoy me to no end...

Also thinking of adding "Interstitials" which are like ads that you have to view for 10 seconds before going to the next page (Yahoo Message Groups uses them for example).

The ad company I have set up right now has the lowest frequency set up to be 12 hours. There is a second one that I use that I would probably add in as well which I believe doesn't have such strict requirements.Also thinking of adding "Interstitials" which are like ads that you have to view for 10 seconds before going to the next page (Yahoo Message Groups uses them for example).
