In the tiniest change for next season, so small I'm almost embarrassed to bother posting it, I've changed the way scoreboard styles are selected in the user profile and added three more styles. You can now see examples of the styles rather than just selecting from a list.January 12, 2009 at 09:51PM View BBCode
Actually, the examples thing sounds pretty swell.January 12, 2009 at 09:53PM View BBCode
Upon looking at it, though, it is a tad on the hideous side. I'm sure you'll make it purtier.January 12, 2009 at 10:18PM View BBCode
I would leave it as you've changed it for the actual selection, but have the page show a complete preview of the selected option next to it. I might be able to whip up some javascript that could do that.January 12, 2009 at 10:21PM View BBCode
The Javascript to do it would be simple enough, I just didn't want to have to create separate screenshots when I could just include the digit images.January 13, 2009 at 12:29AM View BBCode
Specifics might be more helpful from me, eh? Just in case it looks weird on my browser, I'll try to attach a screenshot of what I see.January 13, 2009 at 12:59AM View BBCode

My own (very amateur) opinion is that there could be more black space to the left of the 12s. And the white (or gray or whatever) around each example doesn't make things any prettier. Plus, there's stray black in there, which I really think must be a display issue.
Oh! after looking at it for a minute, it appears that you've used a series of images to make a pastiche of sorts. They must be coming together poorly on mine. One little gif of the whole schmear should do it? I'm sure that presents other problems ...

it looks the same as scooter's on mine. I checked it in Safari, Firefox, and Opera in Mac OS 10.5, and on Firefox in Vista, and it looked the same in all of them. Maybe if you stuck it in a table?January 13, 2009 at 01:16AM View BBCode
OK, I've redone it and checked it in Firefox... please see if that clears it up for your other browsers, Jetpac. Thanks!January 13, 2009 at 01:24PM View BBCode
jetpac already did the multi-test, but wanted to confirm that mine (Firefox 3) works too.Pages: 1
