Regarding the trades between Detroit and NY Homers, what's going on??October 23, 2008 at 03:13AM View BBCode
Here's what happened. I had a migraine and attempted to make a trade--bad idea. I was going to trade my pitching ace Rijo and one of my back up catchers Lavengetto for pick numbers 1 & 2. I was going for youth and had a plan in place. When the trade went through I couldn't find my starting catcher Tinker. I checked the trade and realized I had clicked Tinker's name by mistake. I freaked! Tinker was a young star who hits left with power and has an A+ throwing arm. My rebuilding plans dealt with Tinker in the middle. Ernie had a good starting catcher and didn't need a back up catcher of that caliber and I had nothing left except a couple of back up catchers. I U2Ued Ernie and explained my mistake and told him I wanted Tinker back and offered him his draft picks in return. He accepted. I was glad. It was my fault this whole thing happened. Next time I have a migraine, I won't try to make a trade.October 23, 2008 at 05:55PM View BBCode
so this ended up a 28 year old B- catcher for an A- pitcher with 3 or 4 seasons left?October 26, 2008 at 01:23AM View BBCode

You did offer more, and I was waiting for the renewal of my team to come through. When it came through, the trade had been pulled and you had traded the pitcher and draft picks you had offered to the Homers. It was originally an attempt to get the draft picks back. By the way. it wasn't a B- catcher, it was a solid B catcher with an A+ arm and power.Pages: 1
