On another note, when do we start playing for keepsies? This spring training has been great: I've gotten Willoughby some balls at a bunch of positions, and he's played his way onto the 25-man roster. Dom Gooden had some time to rehab his shoulder, and then to rehab his wrist. Detherage seems to have added that slider, so he can concentrate on getting batters out instead of just working on the new pitch. This is looking like it's gonna be a really good season for Your Washington Diplomats, as soon as we get going.
You fellas just let me know when you're ready.

I knew it had to be against my sorry staff. Kudos to Homer though on an amazing accomplishment. I think the Geritols are going to fall short this year as Baltimore, Boston, and New York appear ready to usher in a new era in the AL. Only my opinion and God knows I've been wrong before picking a winner so early in the season.
