Ed...You have paid your $$ and have every right to run the team the way you want...If that includes making offers to the Cookie's RedBirds, then by all means available do so. I value you as an impoetant owner in this league and support whatever decision you have in running your team...Cookie!!

Washington, I know your view against trading CPs, but it is ideal for your situation this season. Your minor leagues are barren, really you are wasting CPs on everyone you have them on. You should be trading your CPs for draft picks to help restock your minors next season and the season after. This is what CP trades are for!!!

as you all of you. no by now i am not a big fan of trading cp
to another team.
what if i trade my coaching point to a first place team. for a draft choice. but the following year, his player comeback to hurt the 2 nd place team. by a game or 2. will i here that. i was in collusion with that team.
i appreciate all the help. but i dont want anyone to think i was in collusion with any team in the league

Ed, I feel you are sincere for your reasoning on trades...To trade Cp's or not is your preogative... to trade or not to trade is the same...you paid your money, now run your team as you see fit...I personally have not traded Cp's but I harbor no ill feelings to those owners that do trade Cp's...I would love to trade with you but only if you feel the trade was of value to your team...it is a game to play, trade, draft, develope as you see fit...make me some offers as i do have some younger players that can help you to build...Cookie!!

a 4th and a 5th, not good. I realize that the guy is 34 years old, but still. Cookie, you have been playing SimD long enough that those picks are virtually worthless.

:) i offer him a fourth & 5 th round pick for aparicio, i was the one that made the offer, not cookie. i also knew if i trade with the white sox ( i would hear that i was in collusion with him) so i made a decision & i will live with it.ed schwartz

It should be noted that Washington offered me the same trade and I declined for obvious reasons. I also advised Washington that a reciprocal exchange of a 4th and a 5th was not enough for Aparicio. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Staley, lighten up dude...This is a game to be played NOt decide who is right or wrong on trades...This has been a league from the beginning with minimal ownership battles. For the WDL to be around for future years to play we need ownership to get along with each other. Lemaster and I have been in the WDL from the beginning... we have had our differences but we never lead each other to personal attacks via message board...I consider Lem a SD friend whom I met playing this game...we rarely make trades with each other as we think alike too much, however i respect him as a SD oppent and SD friend to agree to disagree on SD matters and love being in the same league with him as he is a most worthy SD oppenent who has beaten me more than i have been defeated his teams..Lets just try to get along with each other as we need all owners to continue without delays for the season to continue..
