The second trade seems even better...you get a R1 pick for a vet who has like 1 year left. Usually I woudn't offer more than a R2 pick. You've only got like a few weeks left in your season, so you're not giving up much CP. The 25 year old SS won't amount to much. Backup material.

both trades seem OK. for the 33 year old SP, good health, good endurance, should have 2-3 more strong seasons ahead. A+ vel, good in playoffs. Your first rounder isn't that high, in a mediocre draft, I'd do it if I was trying to compete.The second trade seems even better...you get a R1 pick for a vet who has like 1 year left.
