Nope, NY NL was a midseason acq. Chi AL was a last season addition by me. We have 2 other teams that have as of yet not been claimed, or at least heard from all in the NL. So you should have all new friends on that side of the board.

no just a lot owners dropped out this season. You get the team the previous owner left you with. In your case a pretty damn good team. Am draft is next up.

I'm new, not only to this league, but to dynasty leagues period. Hell, I just completed my first 3 short season single seasons... where I managed to end up 3rd and less than 2 games out of first in each league. I know, nothing to brag about, but a positive experience so far. Probably won't hold up against a league of wizened vets.
