However, this deal alone is NOT going to be enough. So if you're not prepared to do some other deals as well to strengthen your squad to contend this year, I wouldn't do this deal either. To bump yourself up another B+ pitcher in the bullpen and not fix the holes in your lineup would just be a waste, and you may find you need an upgrade or two in the rotation as well to keep up with the other contenders in your league.

If you're going to make multiple trades to try to get yourself to the postseason this year before you rebuild, then I think this trade is reasonable.However, this deal alone is NOT going to be enough.
