I would try to get Alcala in the deal and put Pepitone out,Renteria will be a great pitcher and the 1 draft pick should be in the top 5 for sure,Hayden will help him a lot but the pitching of KC will cost him a loy of game.So if you are lucky you get 1 and 17 overall draft pick,if he put Alcala 2B in the deal I will accept the trade

I agree that Pepitone is a marginal prospect. If you don't like him, ask for another prospect. Amare Oates is the same age as Pepitone, same health (which equals IC's in the majors), and a little better hitter.
I think asking for Alcala is a potential deal breaker, and if I were you , I wouldn't want to break this deal.

Sure it would work, but why would he put Alcala in that deal? He's already making a very strong offer. As has been pointed out, the draft picks have the potential to be very good pickis. The pitcher in the deal is going to be very good...and with C+ endurance already, he will be a SP after a couple of seasons in the majors.I agree that Pepitone is a marginal prospect. I think that Hayden have a great worth,he is an MVP player with a good team, that why I would ask more, maybe ask for Alcala is a deal breaker but I would take the chancePages: 1
