You use this in conjunction with your preference settings to come up with a system for ranking your draft pics.
For example for pitchers you would use End, Vel, Con totalling up to 100. Lets say 5 for End, 45 for Vel, and 50 for Con. I like to predict what my players will be at age 24.
For example I predict Dutch Leonard to be B End, B+ Vel, and A- Con
72 X 45 = 3240
80 X 50 = 4000
64 X 5 = 320
Total = 7560
For position players you want to use CVR, PVR, CVL, PVL, SPD, RNG, and ARM.
For example I'll use CVR 15, PVR 20, CVL 10, PVL 20, SPD 15, RNG 10, ARM 10
I predict Spider Jorgensen to be CVR B+, PVR A-, CVL B, PVL B, SPD C-, RNG A+, ARM C.
CVR 72 X 15 = 1080
PVR 80 X 20 = 1600
CVL 64 X 10 = 640
PVL 62 X 20 = 1280
SPD 32 X 15 = 480
RNG 88 X 10 - 880
ARM 40 X 10 = 400 OVERALL RANKING = 6360
The ranking can be set up to meet your own personal needs. But should give you some idea on how to rank players. I usually estimate 2 years to improve a grade in an area.
