Disclaimer: I'm in my first dynasty season.

That said, it looks like a good trade to me. You can get at least another good season out of your older 3rd baseman, and looks like you have a pretty decent prospect in the minors there, so one of your prospects is expendable. It looks like you can back up the 3rd baseman with your backup 1st baseman, he has some experience there. You seem to need a CF desperately, Beven looks like a good 'un as long as the speed holds up, and you have a good catcher already - trading for a pitching prospect seems the better choice for you.

But hold out for a more experienced player to give you some advice.

U seem to be doing fine with what u got. Sure u can use a CF, but your catcher still has some good years. The 3B in question is a stud and I dont think I can give him up or the young pitcher, who in a couple of years could fill in nicely when your vets age. So I wouldnt do it. Of course, u would probably like to hear other opions.:cool2:

I personally don't trade pitching for hitting, unless the hitter will really put me over the top for a playoff/WS run.

Bevan looks good on paper OS29 (A) overall. I look at what he has done over his last 3 seasons and I think he is over-rated.

I think Wiggington with his A+ health and current ratings will end up very close to where Bevan is when he reaches 28.

If you want to add Bevan to your roster I would counter with a 1st rnd draft pick.

Don't be fooled by Bevan's A overall rating--he's an okay leadoff hitter, but not much more. Wigginton will be just as good, if not better, in 5 years.

You'd do well to hang on to Lane, since your rotation is getting older. I dont' really see you adding much to your team by doing this deal...

Disclaimer: I haven't ever done a dynasty season, but being said, you probably should trade for a pitching prospect since your pitchers are aging. It also wouldn't hurt to draft somebody you think will be a quality reliever in the future. If at all possible, try to get a centerfielder.
