okay so i went out and bought a guitar even though i have no idea how to play. anyone play the guitar, and have any advice in leading me to the right direction???

As far as your guitar playing, I'm sure you'll be out-Yngwieing Yngwie before too long. Just remember - if you sing about dragons and wizards and ancient civilizations, it's "jug jigga jug jigga jug jigga jug" and you want your voice nice and deep but if you sing about far off galaxies and robots and space battles off the belt of Orion it's "meedly meedly meedly meedly" and you want your voice real high like Geddy Lee. And those are the only two possible subjects for a true rock star.

what kind of guitar did you get? electric or acoustic? i'm guessing electric. and its probably shitty.
