List of Changes for Next Season

We have a few changes coming over for the next season. These will be moved over on March 13th. Questions and comments about these changes should be asked here:

- We made the rest page more user friendly in regards to number of players on your major league roster. You can rest and unrest multiple players at once, as long as you have between 22 and 25 players on your major league roster after the transaction. Remember that Abe will auto-promote if you are at 22, so you should get to 25 by promoting players on your own.
- Team splits. For the last few seasons, we have been tracking on the backend player's stats on individual teams. We have made it so that you can view these stats broken out on the player card. Also, for the Team stats page, this will only include stats for players who played for your team. The Individual Stats page will remain a snap shot of everyone who is currently on your team.
- If you have a pitcher who is injured for less than 20 days and he is in the starting rotation, Abe will leave him there rather than rearrange your rotation. Note that Abe will still use a spot starter in this case.
- The retirement logic has changed so that RP and SP are judged not based on label (RP or SP) but on use. So if a player is a SP, but pitches out of the bullpen all season, Abe will consider him a RP for retirement purposes.
- Changed the schedule page so that if you are viewing another team's schedule and click "All 162 Games" it will show you that team's schedule instead of your own team's schedule.
- Have
slightly improved catcher arms for the draft. This may allow for a few more developable catchers, since catchers with bad arms are usually converted to other positions in Sim Dynasty.
- If you have your manager preferences set to "Leave the closer in until... use other rules to determine what to do" and the closer gets yanked, Abe should now correctly bring in your next best closer if it is still a save situation. Before, Abe was looking at your individual preferences, bringing in that RP, then one batter later bringing in your next best closer.
- Changed so that runners can score on a groundout when runners at 1st and 3rd. Before, the code wasn't allowing this runner to score when he should have.
- Added throwing errors back in for infielders. This was inadvertantly turned off about 3-4 months ago.
- Added a new page for Private and Speed leagues called League Schdedule. This will show you all the game and event times for your league.
- Added in playoff stats. For any new playoff series, Abe will track the playoff stats. At this time, they can be seen from the player cards only.

For the next round of changes, we are working on a more formal process for deciding what to work on next and may solicit your feedback through a survey of some kind. So please stay tuned for that. I'd like to work on one large project and several medium and small projects.
