The parade route runs right past where I work.. Thankfully I will be off on Saturday....

Did the tornadoes that hit Missouri hit the parade route, while they were marching?

Having not paid attention to OT at all, I missed this. I grade this joke a B : excellent premise, well-chosen placement and timing, but the grammatical errors really hurt it, and the actual execution could have used some extra polish to tighten it up. A solid effort overall, with clear room for improvement.

First Ward Councilwoman Almeta Crayton said the most important thing is for adults to make sure teenagers and young adults do not attend the march and try to take matters into their own hands.
"Come Saturday, I want you in between a kid and downtown," Crayton said at the meeting. "I?m dealing with 15-, 16-, 17-year-old men who are angry."
But Mary Ratliff, president of the Columbia chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, said her group is planning to confront the marchers.
"We?re not willing to sit here and let the Klan march through," Ratliff said. "The NAACP is a nonviolent organization, but we?re an organization of action."

I like the name change on the thread.... Get the kids out practicing with the 4-10's now so they will be ready to fend off the looters..I mean marchers. I also recommend you stock up on fresh water and TP, Blockade the street and prepare yourself for society to crumble. This could be worse then Y2K so please Kann get prepared.

In 2005, the organization marched in Toledo, Ohio, when police lost control of the city to rioters for four hours. Counterprotesters threw bricks at police and set a building on fire. Over 100 counterprotesters were arrested and none of the neo-Nazis were arrested.

I suspect you should either plan a getaway weekend to suprise the family or get ready for a bit of trouble....honestly if I were you would be getting the family out with the Shotgun to practice before this weekend and making sure we have shells around the house. Sounds like you got some real assholes coming to your neck of the woods.

None of the articles mention it, but the REAL reason ( at least what im hearing on the streets) they have chosen our little colleg town is that we have a black president at the University of Missouri.

Since this is going past my office, i had considered going up there just to see show...Dont think I will now.... We live 3 miles from the parade route. All is fine there with the familia, but downtown and the campus could get REALLY UGLY..None of the articles mention it, but the REAL reason ( at least what im hearing on the streets) they have chosen our little colleg town is that we have a black president at the University of Missouri.

"I?ve never seen a neo-Nazi group before. I?m 50 years old, I thought what the heck, ?Let?s go down and check them out,? " he said.
He said part of his interest was the possibility he would see some "action," such as people getting arrested.
"There was more hype about it than actually happened," he said after the marchers passed him on the first of two go-rounds. "I saw some people yelling and a few things thrown, other than that, I?m ready to go home."

It's nic e that the local Hip-Hop station showed up and played for the 24 white power marchers, it shows a level of community that I would not have suspected from all the pre march build up. I also liked that the article talk to some one honest and did not focus on retard students out to save the world. I think this guy should be the towns next Mayor.....

With groups like these, I think it can be best to let them protest without dignifying them with a response. Let 24 people show up and spout some nonsense that no even slightly reasonable person takes seriously. As long as enough police are there to prevent them from causing mischief, let them exercise their free assembly rights they hate so much - creating a big scene is what the Neo-Nazis are going for, I'd bet.Pages: 1
