Still an unfunny douchebag.

That is all. Carry on.

Thank God you feel that way. When I saw the headline, I was afraid you had come to spout gibberish about how funny he is.

When does Rescue Me's new season start?

That's right Boston, you'd better change the subject. We know where he came from!

Let's say he is from NH.

Here's why I posted this (as if you couldn't guess) - I want to hear from someone who thinks he's funny. This guy is selling out shows, selling albums, he's got this (supposedly) dedicated following, yet I don't know anyone who thinks he's funny. He's the worst thing to happen to stand-up comedy since Carrot Top took off in the mid-90's. They were showing his HBO special the other night and on one of the other HBO channels was the Lewis Black special, and you could flip back and forth just like Homer jumping from Australia to America - "Funny, not funny. Funny, not funny."

So who is the target audience here? Jeter? Peyton? I must know.

being from here, I know a lot of people who love him. Personally, I have never heard him and have no interest to either.

I wonder if people love him because they know him or if they really think he's funny.

Again, I couldn't care any less than I do about him.

Well then, thanks for sharing. When does the new season of "Boston gets designated NWB (nuclear whipping boy) and gets bombarded repeatedly by all allied nuclear nations in order to calibrate their weapons" start? Oh, never mind, that only exists in my dreams.

The popularity of Dane Cook is a mystery unto the world's leading scientists.

Here' a review of his atroctious "Employee of the Month" movie from Sick Boy, one of my favorite film-review websites. This guy is very funny and down-to-earth. I highly recommend you check it out.

"I can?t figure out this Dane Cook character. He is, apparently, the best-selling standup comedian ever and is about to host Saturday Night Live for the second time in less than a year, yet I?ve yet to meet a person who either likes him, or will cop to buying (or even downloading) any of his albums. I?ve done the downloading bit, and find his humor extremely safe and vanilla, which is surprising since his target audience skews way young.

If you?re in the boat with me regarding Cook?s boringness and overall lack of charisma, you?ll still be surprised to learn he?s even more boring and less charismatic in Month, which is based on a concept that might, on a good day, be strong enough material-wise to fill a standard SNL skit. But a movie that pushes the two-hour mark? It?s like being trapped in a coffin but without having practiced under the cruel, watchful eye of Pai Mei.

Cook plays Zach, a lazy employee at an all-in-one superstore. He wants to get in the pants of a new coworker (Jessica Simpson) and hears that she?ll only bang guys who win the store?s Employee of the Month title. Zach tries his best to become a model employee, even at the expense of losing his friends (Andy Dick, Harland Williams, Brian George ? any of whom would make a more interesting lead), but still struggles to stand out because of a competitor (Dax Shepard) who has won EOM 17 months in a row.

Month is relentlessly unfunny, and Cook and Simpson have a chemistry similar to the combination of bleach and ammonia. The strange thing is that Simpson is such a clueless whore, Cook looks like Olivier when the two share scenes. Too long, and not nearly enough laughs makes this a painful endeavor that will easily rank among the worst of 2006."

I have a friend who thinks he is the funniest person ever, I would like to add that my friend is a complete tool. He is the only person I have ever met that actually thinks he is funny. I would imagine it is more of the peytons of the world that like Dane. I also think that he has a lot of bandwagon fans I would classify my friend as this type of Dane fan. My friend doesn't have a good enough sense of humor to know what is funny and since he has heard that Dane is the best thing since sliced bread he will watch, listen, and praise him until the next guy comes around.

I tried to watch some of that tourgasm show on HBO to see what the big deal was with this guy but I just couldn't handle it. The only thing worse than having to watch Dane on that show was having to watch Jay Davis who was horrible.

Yeah, I Tivo'd the SNL episode he was in the first time around to see what all the fuss was about. His opening monologue was part of some stand-up routine. I tried to give him a shot, but damn if it wasn't lame. Oh, and the rest of the show was lame too.

So ended my exposure to Dane Cook.

I liken him to what Tucker Max would be like if he ever joined the circuit. Which I hope never happens.

Dane Cook is a complete waste of time. He'll get the occasional chuckle from me, but I laugh at everything, so if all you can get is a chuckle, you need to try something new.
