Have to shake the hand of the NY Giants general manager. The late-inning dramatics from both teams definitely made this an NLCS to remember. Some of the best playoff games of all-time were played in this series... Brooklyn scores four runs in the 10th inning of Game 4, only to be topped by the Giants scoring five of their own to win the game. Brooklyn scores six runs in the 9th inning of Game 6 to tie the game, winning in the 10th to advance.Looking forward to another great season in '61... now it's time to face the Capones in the World Series - without my veteran starting catcher, who will miss what could be his final World Series due to an NLCS Game 2 injury.
