May have been the last hurrah for this version of the Tigers. I was hoping to go out with one more ring but it was not to be. I could see a slew of retirements this offseason:
Dye (21 game winner at 37), Jones, Bauer (24 game winner at 36), Adderly (hit .350 at 36), Mannasas, Robinson...who knows even Benedict, Graham, and Rose could make a surprise move. Regardless the face of the franchise will change and the franchise will take a few steps back...

Congratulations to Detroit for a long playoff run- IF... it truly is over. But that is to be seen. Cleveland seemed to play their best this year vs. Detroit in the regular season and continued it in the ALCS, with most of the damage being done by my 6,7,and 8th place hitters(Bean, Strong and Taitt), and a strong 6.1 inning relief appearance by Coscarart in the 15 Inn. game.Pages: 1
