i guess run-dmc i dont really like that old school stuff. some of pac and bigs older stuf is pretty good

You've got to realize that without Run DMC or NWA you would never have had Tupac or Biggie. So at least have some sort of appreciation for the roots.

i understand that i listen to it sometimes at the throwback at noon on hot 97 all i said is that i dont really like it.

As far as the whole package, music, production, lyrics, for me it's A Tribe Called Quest, hands down. For just rapping, being lyrically clever, I say KRS-One is one of the most underappreciated great rappers out there.
