I'd take it. Your staff is geriatric, and that is one fine pitcher to help you with the dogfight you're in. He's a great closer, and it seems thats what you could really use.

BTW I'd start Fernandez over Beamon as well. You have a solid core of hitters, and he's better anyways.

Other than that, nothing but upside on that team of yours
