Needless to say, despite this hit, Bruce left the mound with a shotout two hit performance giving his team an important win.
It is not known at this point if Bruce?s performance will inspire the Scotsmen to offer a more constant performance on the field, since until now the Cleveland fans have not had anything to cheer about this season. It is hoped that the second half of the season will offer us a better show?One could hope..!

Robert Bruce just flirted with making history for the Cleveland Scotsmen when he took the 26 Kansas City batters and retired them one after another.
