I'm only posting this for the new guy on the Brooklyn team to see what he's offered me. Gurus please post your opinions.
This is not posted to poke fun, but to enlighten, since I can't put it into words.

Well there are a couple of points to make here.

1). Philadelphia is a contending team. As such its unlikely to be in your best interest to trade away decent pitching.
2). It's a new league so even though a 36 year old pitcher isn't usually worth much because he'll usually retire at the end of the season, a new pitcher in 1950 will last a bit longer because he doesn't have the past history to contend with during his decline years and this guy could pitch another 2-3 years.
3). The catcher prospect isn't worth much as he's too old to properly develop up from his D/C+ ratings
4). The third round pick usually isn't going to get you someone who will be developable. (Occasionally yes but not usually).
5) The outfielder can develop into a margainal bench player at best.

Essentially you're a contending team being asked to deal away two productive pitchers for three parts that you can't use now at all and probably won't be able to use ever.
