Trade advice in the Tony Gwynn League

I need your help with this trade offer. This is a Private or Speed League

I don't think that's enough to give up the #1 overall pick. Blackburn is a mediocre prospect (reasonable, but worth the 3rd rounder he was acquired with), Seaver's overall grade is inflated by his speed and he's a decent prospect but not great, while Chuck Adams is worthless, and if you really need a hitting or catcher mentor like Kaiser there are better ways to do it than swap away a #1 overall pick.

Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with trading away a #1 overall pick for the right package deal, but you need more useful stuff than this.

I'd agree here, this just isn't enough. to move down the 15 slots in the first round that you're being (potentially) asked to do here is worth a whole lot more than what's being offered. Basically Brooklyn has offered you his spare parts for your big ticket. I'm not sure I'd do it if he included his top two prospects (Alston and Janson) but I definately wouldn't do it without them.
