For reasons that are not entirely clear to me, the GMAC Bowl is being played on Jan. 7, the night before the BCS Championship game, and will feature the 2nd best team from the Buckeye State, the Ohio University Bobcats.
Should we take up a collection and send Goat to Mobile?
*(only something called the International Bowl in Toronto is weirder--it's played on Jan. 6th and features Cincinnati and W. Michigan--I hear that good seats may still be available)

Drunkengoat's Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles have been invited to the 2nd-most bizarre bowl game* of them all, the GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.For reasons that are not entirely clear to me, the GMAC Bowl is being played on Jan. 7, the night before the BCS Championship game, and will feature the 2nd best team from the Buckeye State, the Ohio University Bobcats.

Don't worry - I'm already planning on going. And funny enough, this occurs the very night before I begin a week-long mini-session to get three hours' credit for Graphic Design. I'll have to be back in town to be ready for school at 8 am that Monday. HURRAH!

The Liberty Bowl in Memphis is now going to be Houston against some SEC team they have little chance against, while the runner-up (US!) gets to play some other runner-up from up north in the game played right before the BCS championship. Did I pull a fan's tank-job and hope they lost? Part of me sure as hell did.
Like I have the gas to get to Memphis. Mobile's an hour and a half away, and it's 15 minutes from my sister's house. Hells. Yeah.

Max, also, we were discussing this on the line the night they played. nice, I was hoping that FSU would end up in the Music City bowl but we got Clemson, ack!
