Some of the pitchers were hurt somewhat by pitching several games in relief during their career. I thought it was interesting that only 8 of the 18 had won more than half of their starts.

I was reading some articles on pitching and saw one quote a stat that I thought was interesting. Instead of looking at total wins or win/loss percentage, this used a wins/games stat. What percentage of the games a pitcher pitched in did he get the win. I ran the numbers for all pitchers in our league with 200 or more wins and here's what I got.1. Spahn 65.9
2. Burdette 62.0
3. Grogan 58.5
4. Law 57.2
5. Breining 55.9
6. Slaton 53.6
7. Meyers 52.4
8. Keriazakos 50.7

Got the wife, kids, and a dog, work 40 hours, coach youth basketball 3 days a week, play softball once a week, play basketball once a week, date night alone with the wife once a week, we do a game night with friends and family once a month, and this...I think I have too much life right now. ;)Pages: 1
