2.a.All owners will be given 1 vote for each player on the ballot.
2.b.You will not be aloud to give more than 1 vote to any 1 player.
3. 8 owners will need to cast their votes for the ballot to count.
4. A player must get 75% of the votes cast to get into the hall. (If 8 owners cast their votes a player must get 6 votes to get in)
5. a player will stay on the ballot unless he receives 20% or less of the votes.
6.Aplayer may be renominated if he has been dropped from the ballot
7.The player must be retired
I will post the ballot after game 81

One question (for clarification) - re: 2.a. & 2.b.

This confused me - if there are 5 players on the ballot does that mean each owner gets 5 votes and since you can't give more than one vote to each player that therefore each player on the ballot will receive exactly one vote from each owner...which will result in every player getting the same number of votes. Shoudn't we be able to cast our 5 votes any way we see fit (perhaps with a limit that you can't use more than 3 votes on any one player...or something like that)?
Just a thought - I'm otherwsie happy with the rules you set out.

You do not have to use all the votes. The reason for doing it that way was because of all the players we are going to have on the 1st ballot or 2. We will lower the number of votes you get after the second ballot if it passes a league vote.Pages: 1
