Charmers not nice to Spiders sweeep us.

I am too discouraged to give a game report on the last two losses.:( The 7-4 second game we were never really in, but that 5-4 loss when they beat our ace Mossi really hurt.:P We had our chances to win the last one, left the bases full once. and stranded runners on third twice. Merl Combs and Carl Hamelins bats would have made the difference in some of these losses, but if ifs and buts were candy and nuts then we would all have a merry Christmas! The truth is we are not a very good baseball team right now. I was sure we could avoid the cellar but that last trade of the Chicago teams doomed us to the basement. We have some talent in the minors and some guys up here that won't roll over and die. So if you come to play us bring your "A" game or we will still kick your tails.;)
