I need your help with this trade offer. This is a Private or Speed League

I have been offered:

I would give up:

1963 Draft Pick Rd 2(STL)

Here is a link to the other owner's depth chart

And here is a link to my league's standings

Thanks for the help.

It seems like a fair trade. The things I would question are:
1) whether you can replace Baker's bat. It seems like this season you'll be OK with what you have but after that maybe not.
2) which pitcher are you going to demote? If you do the trade, it probably speaks to you seriously considering trading one of your pitchers (presumably a guy like Nolan who is your weakest pitcher, but a fine prospect).

If you have a good plan for the above two things, then go for it.

Well the idea was to get younger at pitcher. Seeing as my rotation is coming to the end. The draft is not helping. 1 pitcher of this magnitude helped my rival take that leap, so i was hoping to find the same. Baker and Nolan are pretty much all i have as far as a future is concerned. I want to maintain, not have to rebuild, but i dont know if that is possible at this point.

You do need to get those other 5 CPs assigned in the minors. In terms of this deal I'm torn. You've got a few good young hitters (although I'd probably play Herrara full time with Silvers backing up all over the IF and Bradley full time with Clark backing up the three OF positions and 1B). I think I'd accept and give the playing time to one of the other young hitters.

Yes, if the idea is to get younger on the pitching staff, I would say this is a good deal.
