Bad blood between the Spiders & Boston?

:mad:Game two of the series goes to Boston 18-7.The Haymakers wasted litttle time in getting to young Joe Hall. In the first Billy Thompson singled and then Frank Neil blasted a homer. In the Spiders half of the first Tommy McCarty singled and Al Smith (The Peoples Choice)blew a Johnny Bowers fastball into another demension. Next popular Spiders Stars (Mule) Girrado and Merl (The Pearl) Combs were both knocked down by Bowers before grounding out. Heated words were exchanged and both dugouts emptied but no punches were thrown.Veteran ump (Jocko) Conlin warned both mgrs.Joe Hall settled down and pitched well into the sixth giving up only a single run in the third when Frank Neil singled, went to second on a fielders choice, and to third on a wild pitch. scored on a rbi grounder by Gary Bloom.In inning five for Boston Frank (Nailer) Neil hit a blast scoring billy Thompson who had singled earlier.Mgr Luv again brings in teen idol Conlan and after a Jeff Mabry single, Gary Bloom has to hit the dirt to avoid another close pitch. Bloom starts for the mound but is restrained by team mates.Both Mgrs come out and scream at each other and are tossed by Conlan.Bloom then grounds into a 6-4-3 twin killing.In the Spiders fifth sweet swinging Merl Combs connects on a long ball and the game is tied. IN the Boston sixth Pence walks, is sacrificed to second by John Bowers. Billy Thompson flies out to center and Frank Neil gets an intentional pass. Mike Cressend comes on to pitch and fires a first pitch fastball that Jeff Mabry puts into orbit scoring Pence and Neil before him.Boston gets four more in the eighth with a walk ,a single and back to back doubles by (you guessed it!) Anderson & Williams. IN the ninth Steve Gromick comes on to pitch for the Spiders and after Billy Thompson singles, he drills Frank Neil in the ribs. Both dugouts again empty and and Jack Deal is ejected for throwing a punch at Frank Neil.In the Spiders ninth Merl( the Pearl )Combs triples and and Cliff Reilly belts another homer. But its too little too late and and the Spiders take it on the chin again by pwerful Boston. In his post-game press conferance Mgr. Luv accused Boston of being bush league, not attempting to get out of the way of inside pitches and sacrificing several times while having a big lead. When asked what his opinion of the youthful Spiders was, the Boston Mgr said yeah, they are young, such crybabies! With Boston Ace Hank (Barber ) Weins going tomorrow This reporter looks for a hot time at the Web.

Hey, this is make believe and I always wanted to be a sports writer so I write up a few of our games now and then for kicks. My shrink says its o.K:D
