It was also fun battling it out to almost the last day of the season with the Chicago Cubs and Philly. Hopefully next season is just as competitive in our division.

The Brooklyn Brownstones would like to publicly congratulate the New York Giants on clinching the National League and going to the World Series. It was a thrill for the B'Stones, who made it to the playoffs for the first time. The NLCS was a great one, going to seven games.It was also fun battling it out to almost the last day of the season with the Chicago Cubs and Philly. Hopefully next season is just as competitive in our division.

You have done an outstanding building your team. You came from a fourth place finish in 1956 to a solid Playoff team this year.
I think we will see many more classic battles between both of our teams.

It was truly a great playoff series. Brooklyn took the series to seven games. The two one run games that the Giants won was the margin of victory. I knew it would be a tough series when you took 2 out of 3 on our last trip of the season to Flatbush.You have done an outstanding building your team. You came from a fourth place finish in 1956 to a solid Playoff team this year.
